RokiRoad Beach Challenge

August 5, 2018

RokiRoad Beach Challenge is a scenic but tough 4km soft sand beach run from Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club to Long Reef point and back. We started this race three years ago to raise funds for our Roki boy who unfairly suffered a severe injury at birth. Roki’s days are tough and we wanted the race to be tough to signify that we acknowledge his hardship every day and that it is not in vain as he has pulled a whole community together since his birth a few years ago. Roki cannot speak or move but he continues to inspire not only us as his parents but many people who meet and work with him.

Today we continue to raise funds to cover costs of his treatment that is not covered by Medicare and the NDIS. We continue to build his RokiRoad Foundation with which we aim to provide support for families who choose to follow the alternative health path with their hurt loved ones. We aim also to provide much needed respite for the parents who care endlessly for hurt loved ones. We are on a crusade, a vigorous campaign in favour of a cause, all of this inspired by our little Roki who has taught us so much.

Come show us your support by putting yourself through the pain and gain of what is the RokiRoad Beach Challenge. It’s a no frills, no fuss but oh so fun and worth while day.

On behalf of Roki we would like to thank everyone who have supported Roki and continue to do so. You inspire us to provide the best possible life for him.
